A Hadith that shows the Importance of studying this book is the story of the man prayed badly;

” A man entered the Masjid and started praying while Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) was sitting somewhere in the Masjid. The man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and greeted him, The Prophet (PBUH) said to him, ‘Go back and pray for you have not prayed. The man went back and after he prayed, he came and greeted the Prophet (PBUH). The Prophet (PBUH) after returning his greeting said go back and pray for you did not prayed. On the third occasion the man said, Teach me (how to pray)? The Prophet (PBUH) said when you get up for the prayer perform Wudu properly, The face the Qiblah and say the Takbir (Allhu Akbar) then recite whatever is easy for you of the Quran, Then bow and remain in this state till you feel at ease bowing. Then raise head and stand straight., Then prostrate till you feel at ease in prostration. The sit up till you feel at ease while sitting. Then prostrate again till you feel ease in prostration. Then get up and stand straight: and do this in all your prayers, ‘”
